Redken Color Extend Blondage Shampoo 33.8oz / 1000ml

Okay so I rarely ever write reviews but I had to for this shampoo. I have been highlighting my hair for years and have never been able to keep in bright blonde in between visits to the salon. I've tried everything - finally tried this brand and oh my gosh, after the first wash my hair was so bright! I'm going to try the conditioner and hair mask next - but so happy with the shampoo!

I used to put myself through the trauma of putting the harshest chemical smelling shimmer and no yellow purple shampoos on my hair but no more. Does it still have a odd smell? Yes. Would you feel embarrassed if someone got a whiff of your hair and felt like you had to apologize for offending them? No. Does it keep my over-processed and damaged hair a color a brunette like me has to pay lots of money to achieve? Yes! That's all I ask for and this delivers.

I've been using this shampoo 1-2 times per week for over a year to keep my icy blonde. Aside from an amazing colorist, this is my secret weapon to keeping my blonde cool and not yellow.

I found this very purple shampoo to be too conditioning for my naturally blonde straight hair. it made my hair too soft. I think it'd be good for coarser hair.

This is by far the BEST purple shampoo. I have been addicted to going more blonde for the past year. Trust me when I say, I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find the best purple shampoo, and none of them work as much as this Redken one does. Although it is pricer than others, you get more for your money! It will last you a really long time.
