This shampoo is marketed toward controlling hair loss (but also states it stimulates hair growth). It contains ingredients listed as DHT blockers, including saw palmetto and biotinoyl tripeptide-1. The shampoo is sulfate free, and is somewhat thick/rich like a conditioner to apply.
I haven’t been using this shampoo too long but I’ve noticed a difference so far. My hair feels a little stronger, thicker, and longer.
The shampoo also has a slight tingly sensation on the scalp when used. It was moisturizing enough to use by itself and it surprisingly seemed to add volume to my hair when used. My hair looked very fun when dried and felt very soft. The husband and I didn’t notice an increase in hair growth - but honestly neither one of us really believe that a shampoo can encourage hair growth. You’re probably better off taking biotin supplements if you want to encourage hair strength and growth. This shampoo does seem to add volume in the sense that my hair wasn’t weighed down in any way. Overall, this is a good moisturizing shampoo that gets hair clean, tangle free, and looking shiny and healthy.
My hair breakage was dramatically improved since the first shampoo. I cant believe how well it works! super happy with this shampoo.
My hair looks & feels thicker/healthier! Am noticing less hair in my brush (& shower drain). This has a mildly invigorating minty fragrance and feel while I shampoo, and while it's fairly thick, it lathers and rinses easily.
