As I have gotten older my ends tend to frizz after blow drying. With this product, my ends are smooth and bouncy. It really adds youthfulness to my hair.
Dont put this all on top of your head it will get too greasy and heavy. I have very thick medium frizzy naturally curly hair. I put less than a dime sized amount and really work it into the bottom half and ends of my hair. I will afterwards lightly run my fingers through the top. after drying my hair it feels super soft and I can tell its helping it stay healthy and it does protect against heat. I blow dry and flat iron my hair.
I have been using this for 3 weeks now and I can tell that it works. My hair is a lot softer and I have a lot less split ends. I noticed it does weigh my hair down a bit. For many that won't be a problem, but I have thin, fine hair, so I don't like it. I need a little volume.
I use this before blow-drying my hair and it leaves my hair soft and smooth and very manageable. I use a flat-iron after I blow-dry and this product has really protected my hair from the heat; I love this stuff!
After showering, I always use this product along with Redken's One United spray and Redken's Diamond Glow Dry Oil (and sometimes adding Redken's All Soft Argan Oil). Adding all of those products don't weigh down my hair or make it feel weird. My hair feels smoother and stronger while using this product.
