I love the joico brand. I have very golden toned hair. Currently a brunette so my hair turns red. When I'm blonde it turns orange. Joico pulls that brass out and keeps my hair beautiful. It moisturizes my hair at the same time. I have dry hair being in hot climate. It runs a bit pricey but worth every penny.
We travel full time for work, so don’t get to see my lovely stylist as much as I’d like. She told me to grab this for all the different water types and things that my hair goes through in between visits. It has been a miracle worker! Would recommend a million times over.
I know so many people that overlook this brand because it's cheaper and might not be as recommended, but as someone who went from very dark brown to ashy blonde, this shampoo was amazing. Over the course of a year, with three touch-ups to my color, my hairdresser always complimented me on being able to maintain the ashiness, and not get super brassy tones. Yes, there are more expensive products out there that might be better, but this does the job.
This shampoo is great for those who are bottle blondes. I would recommend using this with gloves as it does leave your hands a bit blue. I tend to mix this in with my alterna caviar moisture shampoo about once every two weeks just to keep the hair looking nice and ashy.
I love this shampoo for toning my blonde hair. My hairdresser uses this every time she does my hair so I had to go out and purchase it for myself. I find that the blue works best to combat the brassiness that comes from my naturally dark brown hair. I love the smell and that I can use this more frequently than some other toning shampoos because it's not drying to my hair at all. I recommend this to anyone that is looking for a toning shampoo.
