Top Coat or First-Time Application

  1. Divide dry hair into four sections
  2. Apply The Demi (mixed 1:1 with Paul Mitchell® Processing Liquid) from base to ends
  3. Process up to 20 minutes
  4. Rinse, shampoo with Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo, and condition

Root Retouch

  1. Apply to regrowth first, then pull through if needed
  2. Process up to 20 minutes
  3. Rinse, shampoo, and condition

Toning or Refining (Pre-lightened hair)

  1. Apply to towel-dried hair
    Start at the roots, then apply to midlengths/ends
  2. Adjust with The Demi Clear if hair is porous
  3. Process up to 20 minutes and rinse

Gray Blending

  1. Follow the same method as Top Coat or Root Retouch
  2. Ideal for subtle gray coverage without lightening
