On the recommendation of a stylist, I purchased this for blowing out/styling my short hair. The product comes out in a fine mist. I apply to my damp hair prior to blow drying and styling. Really helps to keep lift in my hair so it doesn't fall after a few hours. The product is not sticky/crunching at all. I will sometimes apply a little extra to my problem areas for extra lift, and wave definition.
