Apply OLAPLEX Hair Perfector No.3 on damp or towel-dried hair. If your hair has a significant amount of styling products, you should pre-wash it before applying the treatment. Pour the formula onto the palm of your hand, then spread it evenly from the roots to the tips. Comb the hair to ensure uniform distribution. Then, let it act from 10 to 30 minutes. Finish by rinsing, shampooing and conditioning your strands. Repeat this process once or twice a week, or up to three times in case of severely damaged hair. Love this stuff! I don't actually use it as a mask as suggested on the bottle, but instead, I apply it as a leave-in treatment. I put about a nickel-sized amount in my hand and run it through my towel dried hair after combing it. I concentrate most of it toward the ends and lightly apply the remaining product closer to my roots (I avoid applying too much product near my roots so that my hair doesn't get greasy). Generally, I just let my hair air dry after this and it makes my hair so soft and shiny it's unreal! It makes it look incredible when I heat style it too, however, I hardly heat style my hair anymore because this stuff makes my waves look amazing.
I have chemically treated hair and I'm currently in the process of going grey/silver and THIS HAS KEPT MY HAIR SO SOFT. I tried it the first time and I didn't feel like it did much but then I tried it again recently and my hair feels so silky. The only thing is that the bottle is pretty small and I only get two uses out of it. (I have what medium shoulder length hair, not too thick but a lot of hair) however, I think it's worth it to keep my hair in good condition in between bleaches.
This product has done so much to help my hair. I use it once a week. I wet my hair, apply olaplex, and let it sit for at least an hour under a shower cap. My hair is so much stronger and my ends are saved!
While I have relatively "******" hair I have had a few trails of diy hair lightning ranging from using diluted hydrogen peroxide to self attempted diluted hair bleach and always when I went too far this stuff had my back, its been years since I did those "treatments" but I still use this as a mask every now and then because it restores my hair and makes it incredibly soft.
If I could give more stars, I would! This product SAVED my hair after years of bleach and damage. My hair was literally breaking off in my hands, when my hairstylist friend told me I need Olaplex. I left in in my hair overnight, with my head wrapped in a shower cap and when I woke up, my hair was transformed. Soft, shiny and no longer breaking - it was miraculous.
